Do not love; think

Agamy enacts the return to the conscious hierarchy reason-emotion, especially in the sanctuary of the appetitive soul that is the world of love.

We'll stop to "think with the heart" because thinking with the heart is as impossible as pumping blood with the brain. We will stop attributing any character to the heart, and recovering the mental representation of emotions for the nervous system. This integrated, not necessarily contradictory, nervous system has a general regulator with an ability not infallible, but privileged ability to distinguish truth from falsehood: consciousness. Conscious thought is the pinnacle of intellectual faculties, and that should be its place. Note that I am not saying more than what we have always known, which we spontaneously tend to think, and what ideological propaganda encourages us to put aside perseveringly.

Reason retrieved, the inconsistency of love’s behavioral principles will be revealed soon enough for the individual to build her/his relations in proportion to the duration of her/his lifespan. Love leads to so repeated and durable mistakes that we arrive only to disbelief when it is too late, or when love himself tells us, that it has become too late for us and is no longer worth looking at us; when we have ceased to be a reference, when "we are not in the market" anymore.

The recovery of reason as judicative latest instance is necessary, and  produces by itself the recovery of love for ethics, from which it has always been banished. The contradiction between the artificially ennobled spontaneous desires of the heart and righteous acts, which should be decided so far through the casting vote of love, will dissolve.

Also, the articulation of loving and sexual desire, expressed mainly through the value of beauty, will also become accessible to critical judgement, to contradiction, to the analysis of the origin and, of course, to reconsideration, to rethinking, to access to a different concept of beauty, producing different, more functional and socializing and egalitarian beauties.

In this review, all the classic definition of gender, own and desired, as well as suitable partner pattern, are also put into question.

The sexual practice itself is returned to freedom through the ability to judge and choose depending on the judgement. It is thus freed from the ancestral cultural meanings that have determined its role, it look at itself and makes responsible for its emancipated notion and practice, transforming sexuality into eroticism.

The restoration of reason to the highest hierarchical level in the field of relationships is the revolutionary movement that collapses all its ideological framework. Because the socio-economic system is irrational it needs of a countervailing subsystem acting within the scope of private life. Because this subsystem should be even more irrational, its main ideological development should be a furious attack on the role of reason. If the attack fails, the subsystem cracks and with it, the key piece by which the socioeconomic puzzle is complete.

Against "do not think, feel" of love, agamy says: "Think what you feel."
